"Do not Determine People's HIV Status By Simply Looking At Them" An HIV Positive Lady Has This To Say

Susan Metta who is currently living with HIV has of late advised Kenyans against the act of determining a person's HIV status by simply looking at them in terms of their appearance and body looking.

She also said that,she suspected she had contracted the virus late in 2016 but she was not aware of the one who had infected her since she had multiple couples.

However while recounting her story ,Susan said that she was relieved after testing positive for the virus in the year 2019.While sharing her story with Anne Ngugi Susan admitted that ,how she was diagnosed with the virus resurfaced in her mind vividly.

While narrating her story,Susan alleged that the sore on her upper limp prompted her to go to hospital for medical check-up and even to have a test for the virus but it wasn't successful.

The lady also revelead that on 14 January she decided to undertake the test but her courage failed and she returned home.Luckily after two days later she manage to take the test after her two sisters accompanied her.

However after receiving the results she admitted that she was all smiles and even requested the medics for ARVS because according to her,she thought that she might have contracted cancer.

While narrating her story,Susan said that she started consuming alcohol heavily due to depression after her job contract j was terminated without prior notice.

She has however urged Kenyans not to determine a person status by simply looking at them.
