The Federal High Court has appointed the spouse of the late Prophet Temitope Joshua, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, as a trustee of the Place of worship Church, all things considered.
As indicated by an assertion by the congregation, Equity Tijjani Ringim gave the judgment on Thursday at the Lagos Legal Division of the Great Court in Ikoyi.
The arrangement was supposed to be in accordance with the congregation's constitution which endorsed at least three trustees for the congregation.
The assertion peruses mostly, "This was contained in a request brought by concerned and serious individuals from the congregation, addressed by Mr. Kola Kareem and Mrs Moji Oguntoyinbo, against the Fused Trustees of the Place of worship Church, everything being equal, the Corporate Undertakings Commission, and Mrs. Evelyn Onyisi Joshua in a Suit No: FHC/L/CP/1109/2021.
"The candidates were addressed by Emeka Ekweozor, Chris Eme and E. G. Onyejekwulum.
"Ossazu Owie addressed first and second respondents, while O. N. Chukwu showed up for the CAC.
"The respondents through their insight told the court they were not against the request made under Segment 839(6)(B) of the Organizations and Partnered Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 (as Revised)."
The assertion added that the congregation "has been in a limbo since the death of the righteous man, Senior Prophet TB Joshua over the administration progression in the congregation."
