Last season, in the first leg of their English premier league encounter, North London rivals faced off at the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal defeating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1.
Unknown to many, Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta, allowed the Gunners team photographer, Stuart MacFarlane, to give the team, their usual motivational team talk before every game. The veteran photographer has been with the club for the past 30 years.
In the video, the long serving cameraman was heard telling the players: 'In 30 years, I have photographed some unbelievable players, some world class players, some great teams. I look at you lot, this is a great team."
"I've been a fan my whole life. This is what we have to do, we have to go out and win. This is me. I am a fan. This lot outside, they would give anything to f*****g win today. Look at them."
The talk really paid off, as the Arsenal players put in a spirited display that resulted in the 3-1 victory, with goals from Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang giving them the bragging rights over their fierce neighbours.
Arsenal kick off their new campaign on Friday night against Crystal Palace.
