Kenya Medical Training college appoints new CEO

The Kenya Medical Training college (KMTC) have appointed Dr. Kelly Oluoch as the Chiet Executive Officer to be in charge of all (KMTC) branches in the country.

The appointment was made by the KMTC chairperson Ambassador Zachary Muburi Muita after Dr. Oluoch emerging the best choice out of over 66 candidates that were paneled for the post.

After endorsement, Amb. Muita revealed his confidence over Dr. Oluoch challenging him to do his best in transforming colleges and having a higher aim with the institutions under KMTC.

“The first and main task ahead of you is on promoting teaching and learning. I urge all of us to rethink managing student and staff ratios,” Amb. Muita revealed.

On his side, Dr. Oluoch who took the position from Prof. Michael Kiptoo noted that he is ready to work with his new team to prosper the college to the expected best level.

“I take this appointment with great honor and humility. I thank the Almighty God for this chance. I thank the Board of Directors for putting trust in me,” Dr. Oluoch reaffirmed.

The current KMTC CEO previously worked as Deputy Director of Finance, Planning and Administration, Deputy head of Pharmacy Department and head of Pharmacy Department at Machakos Campus and Principal at Lake Victoria and Kisumu Campuses.
