According to a news that was published yesterday, it was made known that two suspects, who were on their way to supply bandits in Kaduna State, have been arrested by operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Gwagwalada, while they were on their way to deliver drugs, ammunition, arms, and 16 packs of new walkie-talkie equipments to bandits.
The suspects, whose names were given as Hayatu Galadima and Hamisu Adamu, were said to have been arrested during a stop and search operation that was carried out by NDLEA operatives, as they were subsequently arrested and taken into custody for investigation.
However, a question to ask concerning their arrest is, how did bandits contact them, despite the fact that communication services has been shutdown in Kaduna State by the government ?
Here are the possible answers...
1. It might be that one of the bandits that they wanted to supply, transported himself to meet the two suspects at their location, since they can not contact them over the phone.
2. It might be that, bandits, communicated with the suspects through walkie-talkie, a communication equipment that doesn't need communication services for it to function.
3. It could be that, bandits have contacted the suppliers before telecommunication services were shutdown in the state due to high level of insecurity.
