Solai Tragedy; The Owner Of The Dam That claimed Lives In Solai Dies At A Hospital In Nairobi.


Three years a go, the country was thrown into mourning when a dam owned by one business man, Patel broke its banks sweeping a whole village in solai, Nakuru county.This resulted to a national disaster that attracted attention from across the country and African region as a whole.Photo:Solai village.

Few years after the tragedy, the owner of the dam, Patel Mansukh pass away.According to report by the nation media, he died at Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.The sad news was passed by the farm manager.

Kenyans on tweeter known to be reacting to any post, had a mixed reactions to the above breaking news.Many claims that he might have died as a revenge to the number of lives the were lost as a result of negligence of the dam by the relevant authority.Others predicted that he might have died from corona virus that is currently the global concern.The tragedy forced the government to open up pay bill number where kenyans of goodwill would contribute to support the victims since the damages caused were extreme.The rescue was led by the interior cabinet secretary Dr.Fred Matiangi who camped in the region to access damages caused by the accident.
