If you are reading this article, chances are that at some point in your life you have had an awful gaming experience. However, if you are looking for a way to level up your gaming experience, then you are reading the right article.
The happy thing is that these tips and tricks work for both Android and iOS users.
You don't want an immersive gaming experience being interrupted by notifications from your social media apps, so turn off notifications while you are gaming.
On Android, swipe down on the home screen, then tap Do not disturb. If you don't see the button in your notification bar, you might have to swipe right to see more options.
On iOS, swipe down from the top right corner of the home screen with one finger, and tap the Do not disturb icon (the crescent moon).
Another approach to activating Do not disturb mode is going to the phone's settings > sound and vibration, then tap on Do not disturb.
For a smooth gaming experience, it is advised to free up reasonable storage space and one way of doing that is to uninstall apps you are no longer using.
On Android, press and hold on an app icon, drag it up to Uninstall button at the top, then choose Ok to confirm.
If you are on iOS, press and hold an app icon until a menu appears, then tap Remove the app, followed by Delete App.
You can also upload some of your pictures and videos to Google cloud to save more storage space.
If you are going to be gaming for an extended period, consider toggling on Battery saver mode as it restricts the activities of all background apps and ensures you get more time between charges.
