Deputy President William Ruto is rolling out a strategy on how he would turn tables in Raila's strongholds.

His campaign trails which have been targeting Raila's strongholds have today led him to Raila's turf, Migori. In here, DP Ruto was welcomed with Migori county Boss Okoth Obado and together they have gone deep into Raila's backyard.

According to Ruto’s director of communication Emmanuel Talam and Kuria West MP Mathias Robi, the second in command is scheduled to organise a fundraiser in an SDA church in Awendo, Migori.

But before the fund drive, Mr Ruto decided to meet UDA delegates who are helping sell the Bottom-up agenda to Migori residents. While speaking to them, Mr Ruto lauded UDA as a national party that is better footed in addressing issues of national importance.

He slammed Musalia Mudavadi's ANC party as a village party that doesn't have a national face. He also called upon Raila's ODM to shift into becoming a national party rather than a tribal party.

He went on to praise UDA as a party brimming with the National agenda. He added that the delegates are pushing to make UDA a party of choice in Migori the same way it is in Muranga and Mombasa.

Uhuru's deputy criticized Raila's team for peddling fear, intimidation and threats that are targeting him. He reiterated that Presidential aspirants should sell ideas and programs and give nationals reasons to trust in their government.
