Having been the subject of speculation linking him with a possible move back to the DStv Premiership, former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Dino Ndlovu has shed some light on his future prospects.

Ndlovu terminated his contract with Chinese club Zhejiang Greentown in recent months after his failure to acquire a visa due to the Covid-19 pandemic travel restrictions. And reports have indicated that he is not short of potential suitors both locally and abroad.

The Bafana Bafana International has had a successful career overseas since he left the country in 2015. He led Azerbaijan giants Qarabag to a league title as well as a good account of themselves in the UEFA champions league.

His star shined even brighter at Greentown, where he became an all time leading goalscorer within just 3 years, he had formed a telepathic combination with Nyasha Mushekwi.

Meanwhile, the 31-years-old has revealed that his desire would be to play in Europe, but he has not ruled out the possibility of playing in his home league, saying if an offer were to be presented he would seriously consider it.

A question was posed to him if he would reject an offer from Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Sundowns. Ndlovu indicated that he is not really desperate and won't knock on clubs' doors, rather whoever wants him should contact him.

"I don't want to be the one knocking on clubs' doors, I don't want to look or sound desperate. If there's any club in South Africa that feels they need my services, I'm not closing any door for anyone," Ndlovu told KickOff.com.

"We're bound to have that discussion and see if we reach an agreement. If we don't, we don't, but there's never any closed door for discussion," he added.

With Pirates and Sundowns possessing a plethora of striking options, Chiefs have been linked with a vaudeville forwards to bolster their attacking arsenal, and Ndlovu could be that player to solve their goal-scoring issues.

Do you think Chiefs should consider signing Ndlovu?
