Arsenal's hopes of signing Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana have been dealt a blow with the 25-year-old Cameroon international agreeing personal terms with Lyon. The two clubs, however, are yet to reach an agreement.
The Gunners have suffered yet another transfer blow in their pursuit of Ajax keeper Andre Onana after the 25-year-old shot-stopper agreed personal terms with Ligue1 side Lyon.
Arsenal have been long admirers of the goalkeeper and have monitored his progress but could not get a deal for the 25-year-old.
According to reports, the 25-year-old shot-stopper reached an agreement on personal terms with Olympique Lyon although there is still no agreement between the two clubs.
Onana who was born on the 2nd of April 1996, is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Dutch club Ajax and the Cameroon national team.
Onana has played 204 times for Ajax, he is one of the best goalkeepers the club has ever produced and was a part of the team who reached the Champions League semi-finals before being knocked out by Tottenham.
