Kenyan female singer and songwriter Nadia Mukami has been making big moves in the music industry and she is still doing it. The 'Si Rahisi' hitmaker has been recognized as the first female artist in Kenya to hit 10 million plus streams on Boomplay music.
The fast rising musician took to her Instagram to share and thank her fans for the major achievement. " 10 million Gang! Thank you team Nadia! @boomplaymusicke @sevenscreative hub blessed to have you guys. I think we need new music now," she captioned in her post.
Boomplay, which is a media streaming and download service developed by Transsnet Music Limited, also termed her as the fourth Kenyan artist to get there. The 'Wangu' songstress started her music career at the age of 18 but took it up professionally in 2015 when she released 'Barua ya siri.'
She is best known for her hit songs, 'Radio Love' which features Arrow boy, 'Si rahisi' and her recent collaboration with Bahati titled 'Pete.' The 23 year old is currently a big name in our country and even in East Africa and is coming up fast.
