Born on February 23, 1997 in Saltpond in the Mfantsiman Municipality in he Central Region of Ghana, Audrey Maame Esi Swatson reigns as the most beautiful and youngest female commercially licensed pilot in the country.
After she completed her secondary education at the Ghana Christian International High School in Dodowa, Ghana, Maame Esi gained admission into her dream school, March1 Aviation Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa.
At age 19, Audrey already had her first Solo Flight, and the experience must have been an awesome one.
The youngest Ghanaian pilot was able to attain a feet of 210-hour flight duration while in school, and after obtaining her license as a commercial pilot from the South African Civil Aviation Authority, she established an Aviation Training Centre for young piloting enthusiasts called Excel Aviation Company.
She also holds a record as the first pilot Officer to work with Passion Air in the country, and exceptionally did that as she confidently operated the De Havilland Canadian Dash 8 Aircraft in 2019.
Due to her excellent display of piloting skills, coupled with her great step towards the bridging of gender inequality gap in the Ghanaian Aviation Industry, and the employment sector at large, Maame Esi was honoured with the Young Person of the Year Award at The Future Awards Prize Ceremony.
