Waking up in the middle of the night is a common issue that affects many people. Waking up in the middle of the night while others are busy sleeping happens for any reason. In this case, during this covid 19 pandemic, life has not been the same for many due to problems that they face, living a hopeless life, and other new challenges. What we face during the day can result in a shortage of sleeping and is very unhealthy. Here are the tips that can assist you and continue sleeping when you wake up in the middle of the night.

1.      Take a deep breath

Taking a deep breath will assist you in refreshing your mind. The brain usually controls everything in the body. Therefore, you might wake due to stress or overthinking. Sleeping requires a relaxed mind and not an overthinking mind.

2.      Learn how to do a sleeping meditation

Before you go back to sleep, take five to ten minutes to involve yourself in a short meditation. When you do a short meditation, the brain will be relieved and refreshed. It will prepare you for another sleeping session that will not be affected by other thoughts or stress.

3.      Take a notebook and write all your worries.

When you write your worries in a notebook, it will make you understand what you are going through. You can then use them the next day to find a better solution or someone who can give you advice or consultations.

4.      Have a short Prayer

Prayers do work massively on many occasions. When we pray, we talk to God, and this is where God offers his help when you have faith in Him. Immediately after having a deep breath or meditation, you can have a short prayer and later go back to sleep.
