Makueni county governor Kivutha Kibwana has finally resurfaced after months of having gone low since he was taken ill.
From photos he has since issued, the governor received Machakos county Governor Alfred Mutua and his Kitui county counterpart Governor Charity Ngilu. He has since thanked them for having visited to see his welfare and their hearty wishes of quick recovery.
He has disclosed that they also discussed development issues with the visitors and that sone of the agenda was based on the recent visit to Kitui by His Excellency the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.

In the beginning of June, the Makueni Governor opened up on a health care that saw him spend 11 days at the Nairobi Hospital after undergoing surgery to remove a growth in his back.
The governor revealed that he experienced general body pains for over a year. In an opinion piece published by the Nation, he intimated that he experienced unending pain in his chest, back, kidney, arms and legs. This was subsequently followed by persistent headaches and general malaise.
