The entire country is very proud of you, and forever grateful for your commitment and fearlessness in your service to her while on earth.

It is so unfortunate that death laid its icy hands on you in a very sad and sudden manner.

We all remember that dark 29th day of May, 2017 at Denkyira-Obuasi, when those wicked men and women treated you with hatred and careless heart.

As a Detachment Commander, you did your very best to protect, respect and rescue the entire citizenry from danger, yet they rather stood up against you, and took away your precious life.

I am particularly saddened and each time I remember that incident, my heart yearns desperately for justice.

Those criminals and murderers had no right to have done what they did to you and your family.

A warrior and legend: Even at the point of death, his flames of humility were still in force. He could have retailiated in a violent manner, but all his mind was on his service to his people and the country at large.

I personally find the promotion of late Mahama from a Detachment Commander to a Major by H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, right after his lynching so unnecessary.

I would call it misplaced priorities. What he should have done at that point was to speed up the investigatiive processes to bring into books all the perpetrators of such a barbaric act.

I confidently assure you and your children that although those murderers will be prosecuted at all cost, do not habour any hatred in your heart for them, but continue to rather show them love and care, for vengeance is the Lord's.

I am very thrilled about how fast Jaden and Jeremiah are growing, and very soon, they will grow to fill the gap your husband left in your life.

Do not be worried in your heart at all, for God knows best, and all He wants from you is to be happy and help your handsome boys to achieve their dreams.

Madam Barbara, you are a very resilient woman, and I know that God will give you the strength, wisdom and courage to overcome all the challenges you may have been going through after your husband's demise.

God bless you bountifully!
