Kabuchai constituency Member of Parliament, on Majimbo Kalasinga, has urged the government through the ministry of education to put measures in place to ensure the students have received the Covid-19 vaccination before the re-opening of the schools.
Speaking yesterday at Sikusi Sub-Parish church in Kabuchai Constituency during the fund's drive, the legislator said that Bungoma County has the national secondary schools that absorb students across the country that vaccinating them will curb the spread of the virus from one student to another.
‘’ The pandemic is has claimed the lives of many and we don’t want to put our children at risk of getting the virus therefore we urge the government to deploy the mechanism of vaccinating the students to be free from the Covid-19’’, he said.
The legislator on the other hand had advised parents and students to look for the bursary forms from NG-CDF Office at the Musese area in order to apply for the bursary to facilitate their education.
‘’I urge the needy students to apply for bursary so that they can be helped to continue with their study without disturbance. I will ensure that no ever student who has applied misses the opportunity’’, he said.
He urged the Kabuchai residents to support the One Kenya Alliance stating that it is the only coalition in the country that carries the elite and visionary leaders who will bring the development to the country if given a chance.
He added also that the coalition comes 2022 will be taken the leadership of this nation after the reign of the Jubilee party.
