Chelsea football club and Thomas Tuchel are set to be without the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner for the next couple of weeks.

The Blues suffered a double injury blow when they played against Malmo in the champions league group stage match on Wednesday.
Werner and Lukaku failed to complete the whole 90 minutes of action with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Harvertz coming on to replace them.

However, the injury to the forward duo is a blow for the club but Thomas Tuchel could benefit massively from it and I am going to be talking about how that is possible.
Firstly, the German gaffer is renowned for his 3-4-3 formation, which sometimes changes to 3-4-2-1 but now that his two center-forwards are out with different injuries, Tuchel would likely be forced into changing his formation, and we might be seeing a 4-4-2 formation, which could see Kai Harvertz and Hudson-Odoi being deployed as the strikers.
A new setup would be good for the manager and the team because he looks predictable with his usual 3-4-3 formation and if his other teams used the same formation, Chelsea finds it hard to cope, the match against Brentford backs this claim up.
Secondly, Tuchel will be forced into giving playing time to the fringe players and with the hope that they will perform well against Norwich City and some other matches.

That will provide healthy competition within the squad even when the duo of Lukaku and Werner returns, they will have to fight for their places in the team.
Thomas Tuchel will be the one to benefit from all this because the glory of a turnaround will be given to him before anyone else.
