German Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig have said they have no intention of selling Nigerian star Ademola Lookman in the summer, according to the club's chief Markus Krosche.
The former Everton star has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants, with many English Premier League clubs showing interest in signing him in the summer.
He has been linked with the club's like Newcastle United, Sheffield United, West Ham United etc.
In a chat with newsmen, RB Leipzig chief Markus Krosche said:
“We do not intend to hand him in, Ademola is a young player with a lot of potential. We hope that he will take the next step with us and help us achieve our goals."
The youngster enjoyed a loan spell with Leipzig in 2018/2019 season, before signing a permanent deal last summer, but he has find it difficult to cement his spot in first team in just concluded season.
With the departure of German striker Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, Ademola Lookman will be looking forward to be the coach's favourite in the coming season, the Nigerian born star is contracted with Leipzig until 2023/2024 season.
