Many religious groups have had their own religious books( bibles) which consist of holy scriptures, past events of prophets and sayings of the most high God which is held in high esteem and kept sacred.
However, there have been many bibles on earth and some of which have lost a few parts due to several reasons but the oldest and most complete Bible on earth is the the Ethiopian Bible.
This holy book called the Orthodox Tewahedo biblical canon dates as far back as thousands of years before the birth of Christ and is said to be a particular version of the common Christian Bible which is used by both the orthodox and traditional Christian churches.
Unlike the Christian Bible which has 66 books, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo biblical canon contains 81 books in totality consisting of 54 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament thereby making it the largest Bible on earth.
The Orthodox Tewahedo biblical canon has very beautifully colored art works of prominent preachers of the gospel and the messiah’s of Christ as well as the early days of Ethiopian christiandom.
The Ethiopian Bible also contains the Books of Enoch, Esdras, Buruch as well as that of all 3 Books of Meqabyan and other biblical books excommunicated from the King James Version of the Bible.
The Orthodox Tewahedo church is quite different from the modern day churches we have now as their churches as often rock-cut monolithic churches. The Lalibela is the main church of the Orthodox Tewahedo and is one of the holiest sites in Ethiopian history.
