Raila Junior has questioned about former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama after his ex-wife Agnes Kavindu won the senatorial seat.

In a tweet, Junior wondered what could be going on in Muthama's head since the woman he opposed so much took the win and his candidate lost.

"I wonder what is going on in Agness Kavindu ex-husbands mind," he wrote.

In the just-concluded mini poll, Kavindu trounced UDA candidate Urbanus Muthama Ngengele after garnering 104,080 votes.

Ngengele followed her from afar with 19,735 votes while Mutua Katuku of Chapchap managed 1477 votes despite backing off from the election while Simeon Kitheka came fourth with 1468 votes.

IEBC is expected to announce Kavindu as the next Machakos senator.

Yesterday during the elections Muthama was pictured nowhere casting his vote.

Also, he has been quiet since the banning of political rallies by President Uhuru Kenyatta last week and no one has heard from him.

Some of the candidates who have conceded defeat include Stanley Muindi Mbingu.
