Olunga in Position Three As Voting Goes On in CAF's Twitter Account on Best African Striker

Michael Olunga is a Kenyan sensational striker. He has played for Harambee Stars in many crucial matches. In the last African Cup of Nations tournament held in Cairo Egypt in 2019 Olunga gave defenders hard times. He managed to score two goals against Tanzania in Group C matches.

He has replicated the same performance for the clubs he has played for in different leagues. When he was playing for Girona in Spanish La Liga he became the first Kenyan player to score a hat trick.

When he moved to Japan to play for Kashiwa Reysol Olunga proved his prowess as he scored eight goals in just a single match. He ended up winning the golden boot and the Most Valuable Player award.

Currently, he is playing for Al-Duhail SC champions in Qatar. He has also done brilliantly as he has scored numerous goals in the games he has been involved.

Yesterday CAF on its twitter account posted this information. It is a chance for African fans to choose one best forward between Algeria's Baghdad Bounedjah, Congo's Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Michael Olunga and Ghana's Andrew Ayew.

Voting still continues with Aubameyang leading with 39 percent, Bounedjah 29.7 percent, Olunga 22.5 percent and lastly Ayew has 8.8 percent. Already 4,374 votes have been counted.

In my view Olunga can top on this list because of his recent extraordinary performance for his club.
