When driving, the last thing you would want to happen to you is to get stopped by Traffic Officers. If you get stopped by one of the Traffic Officers, well that means that it's either something is wrong with your car or you were caught speeding so, therefore, they would have to give you a ticket that you would have to pay.

However, here in South Africa, a lot of drivers have gotten away from getting tickets by giving Traffic Officers a small amount of money so that they can let them go without a ticket. This has become such a common theme that there are those that aren't afraid to admit they they have tried or have actually bribed a Traffic Officer.

The story that takes the cake when it comes to bribing Traffic Officers is the one where some guy confessed after participating in the confession challenge on Twitter. The guy confessed that he tricked a Traffic Officer into giving him real money while he gave him fake money. Basically, what the guy did was to give the Traffic Officer a fake note of R200 so that the Traffic Officer can let him off without a fine. But, since he gave the Traffic Officer that much money, he, therefore, told the Traffic Officer that he needed some money for petrol to which the Traffic Officer gave him a real note of R50.

So, since the Traffic Officer didn't know that the R200 note was not real, he, therefore, thought that he had given the guy just a mere R50 note and was left with R150, that's if you less the R50 from the R200 note. This confession prompted other people to also talk about their interactions with Traffic Officers. Some also mentioned that they also gave Traffic Officers money and asked for a small amount and the Traffic Officers give it to them. Others, however, confessed on how they scammed Traffic Officers by giving them a small amount and saying that it's a lot of money.
