There are times you have pains in your eyes and that could make it difficult for you to perform your activities. Eye pain could occur as a result of an health condition or a physical damage to your eyes. When you have eye pain you could experience headache, light sensitivity, difficulty seeing, Discharge, red eyes and feeling a foreign body is in your eyes. 1. Conjunctivitis.

This is an eye condition that causes inflammation of your conjunctiva. This could then cause eye pain and redness of the eyes. The inflammation could be caused by allergies, bacterial and viral infections.


2. Keratitis.

This is an eye condition that occurs when your cornea get infected or inflamed. This could then cause eye pain to occur.


3. Glaucoma.

This is an eye condition that causes build up fluid to occur in your eyes. This then increases the pressure to your optic nerve, thereby causing severe eye pain to occur. If the glaucoma is not treated immediately it could cause blindness to occur.


4. Uveitis.

This is an eye inflammation caused by truama and infections. This could then cause red eyes and eye pain that may affect your vision.


5. Sinusitis.

This occurs due to an infection and it causes eye pains. The pains occurs due to pressure that builds up behind your eyes.
