Cartoon About Abducted Girls & Ganduje's Aide Arrest Sparks Reactions On Social Media

Well-known cartoonist, Mustapha Bulama, has released another cartoon about the current happenings in Nigeria. Today's edition is about 300 schoolgirls abducted by bandits in Zamfara on Friday and the arrest of Governor Umar Ganduje's aide, Salihu Yakassai, by the Department of State Security.

The cartoon shows that DSS officers shunned the abducted students and went after Yakassai for criticizing President Muhammad Buhari over the abduction of the girls.

Yakassai was arrested on Friday evening by the Department of State Security after he criticized the All Progressive Congress and President Muhammad Buhari over the abduction of the students. He said the president has failed the country and demanded the resignation of the president.

His arrest has generated different reactions on social media. Many Nigerians have condemned the Government for shunning the abducted students and going after Salihu Yakassai.

The cartoon created by Mustapha Bulama has generated mixed reactions among Nigerians. See some reactions below. What's your take on this? Is it right for the DSS to arrest Ganduje's aide for criticizing President Buhari? Drop your comments below. Like and share.
