H.E. Shi Tin Wuan ambassador of China to Ghana said in an interview that Chinese are not to be blame for destroying our water bodies and forestry.

He said if visa’s are not being issue to these Chinese, they won’t have even gotten the opportunity to even enter into the country to do their mining activities.

Because of selfish interest of some Ghanaians and Ghanaians leaders and not thinking about the implications of what will happen in future if our water bodies and forestry are being destroyed. They partners these Chinese and help them acquire lands at the mining areas to do their mining activities.

After acquiring land for them, they protect them by hiring security personnel for them while their mining activities goes on so no one is able to go there and stop them. Allowing them to destroy our water bodies and lands.

H.E. Shi Tin Wuan said South African’s have gold but these Chinese don’t go there to do their mining activities because South African’s don’t tolerate such thing in their country as we Ghanaians do here.

if we don’t stop our selfish interest and change our attitude, years to come we will import drinking water.

the president can’t fight this alone, we all as Ghanaians have a role to play, let change our attitude and fight this together so that we can put a stop to galamsay.
