Today's COVID-19 New Cases, Distribution Per Counties and New Recoveries in The Country

Report from Ministry of Health indicates that 258 people tested positive to corona virus disease in the last twenty four hours from a sample of 3,206 people who were tested. 235 of them are kenyans and the remaining 23 are foreigners. This has pushed the total number of people who have tested positive to the virus to 333,952 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,760,201.

In terms of distribution of the cases per counties, Nairobi leads with 105 cases followed by Kiambu with 30 cases. Siaya county recorded 20 cases, Nakuru 17 and Kilifi county recorded 12 cases. Check the remaining counties in the post below.

On the positive note, 419 patients are reported to have fully recovered in the last twenty four hours. 407 are from Home Based and isolation care program while the remaining 12 are from various health facilities across the country. Sadly, 1 patient succumbed to the disease.
