Kenyan footballers are doing great things abroad. Looking at players like Olunga and Wanyama we see that if you are good in what you do, it does not matter where you come from. There are many Kenyan footballers representing us well, among them one notable player is Erick Johanna Omondi.

Erick Johanna Omondi is a Kenyan winger, who once played for Mathare, now playing in Sweden for a Swedish football club, Jonkoping. His stay at Jonkoping has been quite good he already has 12 league goals in total and for their new league campaign he already has a goal in the 2 games Jonkoping has played. Jonkoping is currently playing in the Superettan league which is the second league in the Swedish top flight football.

Johanna has also been an important asset to our national team, he debuted his national career in 2015 and in total he has played 18 games scoring 3 goals, at 26 we can only hope for more goals from him.
