The Portuguese captain is set to quit Juventus, a club he signed for in 2018 summer. It's apparent he don't want to continue with the Italian outfit, considering what the club manager, Massimiliano Allegri said; "Yesterday, talking to Cristiano, he told me that he has no intention of staying at Juventus.”

The 5 times FIFA Ballon d'or winner struggled with Juventus in UEFA Champions League last season as they couldn't progress beyond Round of 16, they also managed to secure UCL spot in Italian Serie A towards the tail end of the season, as they finished 3rd position in the log. Their unprecedented dominance in the league for about a decade was halted by Inter Milan who claimed the last Scuddeto.

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo's tireless effort in the domestic league, the Old ladies generally couldn't meet up to the expectations of their fans. The Real Madrid legend still claimed the Golden Boot award after scoring 29 league goals.

The highest goal scorer (5 goals) in the last edition of Euro championship, will likely return to Manchester United.
