Cellphone banking has made things easier for us, you can just buy airtime and electricity from you phone and immediately get your voucher. With all this it's easy to make mistakes. With that said a guy recently had a lot of people talking after mistakenly buying R2000 worth of airtime. He posted and said "I bought R2000 mtn by mistake. What will I do with so much mtn airtime?." See the post he made on Twitter down below.
People commented under the post and had a lot of things to say. Some suggested he sell it, some wanted to buy for a low price, others wanted free airtime. Someone commented and said "This once happened to me but if you have a friend or cousin that works in retail at a till, you can send it to them and ask them and they'll use it when a customer buys airtime. You'll lose a few rands at least." Another person commented and said "Buy a massive amount of data and rent your device as a hotspotter. You could have R2000 by the 15th of July." See some of the other comments people left under the post down below.
What are your thoughts on this? What should the guy do? Comment down below your thoughts.
