MP Alfred Keter Breaks Silence, Warns Against Alleged Corruption in Nandi County

Nandi hills member of parliament, Mr Alfred Keter has called for scrutiny of the Nandi county over possibly corrupt acts by the county.

The vocal DP Ruto's critic, who has kept low profile from politics over the past few weeks said he suspected possible corruption acts by unnamed individuals from the Nandi County government.

Alfred Keter, while sharing a handwritten bill board picture in his Twitter account, expressed how the county government had failed them.

"Hapa ndipo tumefikishwa na Serikali yeti ya kaunti ya Nandi #devolvedcorruption, " penned Alfred Keter.

Nandi county government has been under public scrutiny over unclear use of public resources. Detectives from EACC has been reported to have visited three homes of the former governor, Cleophas Lagat in 2019 over record of loss of public resources in his tenure between 2014 and 2018.

Furthermore, the current governor, Mr Stephen Sang was on March was forced to send home three executives over graft charges against them.
