Sad As Covid-19 Positivity Rate Rises, Two-day-old Infant Succumbs


Ministry of health today reported that 376 people tested positive from a sample size of 4,153 people tested in the last 24 hours. This marks a slight increase in the positivity rate to 9.1%, which is slightly higher than the previous. The rate earlier dropped to even less than 5% and many thought it was the end of Covid-19, but fourth wave seems to be on the way.

From the cases 363 are Kenyans while the remaining 13 are foreigners. 214 of them are males and the rest are females. Ministry of health also reported that the youngest is a two-day-old infant, very sad indeed. The oldest is hundred years. Total confirmed cases now stands at 166,382 from a cumulative test of more than 1.7 million.

Kenyans are encouraged to adhere to Covid-19 protocols to avoid to avoid previous consequences of country's closure which in turn might lowers country's Economy making life to be hard which everybody knows it well.
