Irungu Kang'ata Clears the Air on William Ruto's Latest 'Challenging' Remarks



While in an interview with K24 television on Tuesday 29th June at night, the Murang'a county Senator Hon Irungu Kang'ata accepted the the Deputy President Dr William Ruto's latest remarks about the rule of law has been challenging many.

William Ruto had earlier stated that what he wants in Kenya is the rule of law but not the rule of man. This statement by William Ruto has posed questions on what exactly he meant by saying it.

The Murang'a county Senator Irungu Kang'ata who is also a close ally to the Deputy President has cleared the air on the same alleging that what the Deputy President's remarks meant is that it makes more sense to put more faith in constitutional institutions other than those institutions made by a single man.

''The DP wants the rule of law not the rule of man. I think any Kenyan once given the presidency can be very dangerous. What maybe he meant is it makes more sense to put more faith in institutions created by the constitution as opposed to those by man,'' the Murang'a county Member of Parliament Hon Irungu Kang'ata stated.
