Every player possesses the potential to turn the tide.
In soccer, a single play is often the difference in a match. When Pyramids and Enyimba face off in the CAF Confederation Cup Quarter-Final first leg game, these are the six players to watch at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium on Sunday.
Any one of these individuals could make that game-winning play.
6. Augustine Oladapo
The Enyimba skipper is blessed with ferocious shots and vision. He will be expected to hold up play and drives his team forward.
5. Eric Traore
Eric Traore is one of the Pyramids' most effective offensive weapons. Not only has he played all their continental games this season, the Burkinabe star is intelligent.
4. Ramadan Sobhi
Ramadan Sobhi is one of Pyramids's most talented goal scorers and must live up to his reputation for his club to pull off the victory. He has recorded two goals in the competition.
3. John Noble
Enyimba's progression to this stage can be attributed to Noble's consistency behind the sticks. He is tested and trusted for the big moments.
2. Anayo Iwuala
The prodigy-turned-stud will play a huge role in Enyimba's ability to knock out Pyramids. Noble is extremely talented, and if the People's Elephants plan on scoring more than one goal, there’s a high probability that Anayo will have to be a part of it.
1. Abdalla El Said
El Said has been phenomenal this season. He defines the label of a scoring machine. He has launched two balls into the opposition’s net this year and his performance in Cairo will make or break the Egyptian club.
