Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and former Prime Minister Right Honourable Raila Amollo Odinga on Monday 27th September met four governors from Mount Kenya region ahead of next year's General Election.
He was happily received by energetic youths who escorted him and demanded that he should address them. Shortly after his motorcade stopped a young supporter at Chaka in Nyeri County showed his love for the former prime minister Raila Odinga when gifted him with a nice pair of shoes. The young man could not hide his admiration for the man he says is the only hope for a Kenyan businessman.
While in Nyari, the ODM leader said he would like to see the private sector empowered to make Kenya a trading nation. He also pledged to help Kenyan companies to secure international contracts.
Raila has been advocating for well paying jobs and industrialization in the country as away of improving Kenyans economic growth. He also promised the residents that the government will lower fuel prices.
