Few Pictures from the funeral of His Royal Highest Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was a member of the British royal family as the husband of Elizabeth II. He was born on 10 June 1921 in Greece but died on 9 April 2021. Recall that Queen Elizabeth and Philip were married for 73years.

In this article, I would be sharing a few pictures from the funeral of His Royal Highest Prince Philip, which started with a minute's silence on Saturday. The funeral reflected Philip's devotion to his military service, with a military band playing music as his coffin and the family arrived at Windsor Castle.

However, only 30 persons attended the event because of the Covid-19 protocol. The guest list was restricted to Philip and Elizabeth's four children, eight grandchildren, their spouses and members of Philip's Greek and German family.

It might interest you to know that Prince Harry's wife, Meghan, did not attend the funeral. She was advised not to since she is pregnant with the couple's second child. The Queen, on the other hand, sat on her own with her facemask.

People who are watching the funeral at CNN and BBC are reacting to it. They sent their condolences, adding that it is heartbreaking seeing the Queen sitting on her won due to covid-19.
