INEC has announced the date for the 2023 general elections.

The Channels Television reported that the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu has passed an announcement concerning 2023 general elections for the country.

He said this on Wednesday that the elections will hold on Saturday 18th February 2023, as it remian one year, nine months, two weeks and six days or 660 days from today.

He added in his word that they would release the a Timetable on how how the Activities will go after Anambra Governorship election which will hold 6th November 2021.

Pastor Adeboye Calls For Prayers For Nigeria over insecurity.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has sent a message to all Nigerians asking them to pray for Insecurity begging God to show mercy on Nigeria and heal Africa’s most populous country.

He said "KEEP raying for Nigeria and the rest of the world in these difficult times. It is our prayer that God will have mercy on Nigeria and heal our land in Jesus’ Name. During the past weeks several attacks in the country like kidnapping, banditry terrorist.

The former Vice president of Atiku Abubakar has urged the government to make sure anyone find in the act of banditry, kidnapping and criminals should face the full wrath of the law. He added that government should invest more in securing the lives of Nigerian youths.
