Of These Two Categories Of God's Servants, Which Do You Belong To?

"And Samuel grew in stature, and the Lord was with him, not allowing any of his words to fall to the ground." 1 Samuel 3:19

God will support, promote, strengthen, and make you wise when you become a divine champion; He will love, sponsor, and sustain you. May He perform all of these things to you starting today. In addition, in the name of the Almighty God, a divine champion fights.

When David and Goliath were fighting in the ring, David informed Goliath, "You have come to battle me with physical weapons, but I have come to fight you with the name of the Lord" (1 Samuel 17:45). A divine champion is a Lord's representative. God backs up his statements when he speaks. 1 Samuel 3:19 has something to say about one divine champion:

"And Samuel grew in stature, and the Lord was with him, not allowing any of his words to perish."

This is both comforting and empowering! That a man will decide something, and God will be in charge of carrying it out. In other words, God's champion assigns duties to God, and God completes them. That also implies that God is just as dedicated to His champion as his champion is to Him.

When some bands of soldiers arrived to capture Elijah in 2 Kings 1:9-12, they told him, "Man of God, the king wants to see you." 'If I am a man of God, let fire descend from heaven and roast you,' he said, and it did. The warriors were crushed to ashes after God sent fire from Heaven. 'As God continues on the throne and I remain His servant, the windows of heaven are blocked from giving rain for some years until I reverse this decree,' said the same Elijah to King Ahab at another time (1 Kings 17:1), and it was so.

Because God backed up the words of His champion, the country experienced its worst drought in three and a half years. Do you consider yourself a heavenly champion? How many of your decrees have been blessed by God? This is, nevertheless, doable! If God will not allow any of Samuel's words to fall to the ground, He will equally maintain yours. The question is, what have you done to elicit divine intervention?

How well do you follow heavenly instructions? How much of God's Word do you study, memorize, and reflect on? Do you place God first in your life? Do you have a knack for winning souls?
