Ever since schools were closed due to the current global pandemic, students were the most happiest due to the fact that they wouldnt have to bother about their studies anymore.
However, after the president of Ghana made some announcements few weeks ago that, final year students in JHs, SHS 3, and in the terxiaries are to report to school in order to complete their syllables and write their exams finally.
This came as bad News to some ghanaians as they thought the students would be exposed to the virus as it is very dangerous, but were calmed down after the government had assured that everything is under control.
However Last sunday was the set date for the final years to return to school but unfortunately news reaching us is that, a student in the final year in the ofoase technical SHS which is in the Asante Akyem South could not make it to school as she was involved in a fatal accident on her way to school yesterday.
It is reported that the student who was identified as one Esther NyameKye was in the taxi with two collegues who were in the backseat whiles she was in the front seat.
It is believed that the Vehicle must have slipped and samasaulted so many times before it eventually turned upside down, causing Esther to die in the process whiles the rest were severely injured.
They were rushed to the Kumasi district hospital for medical attention whiles Esther, who lost her life was sent to the mortuary after she was confirmed dead by the doctors.
Parents have been contacted and so everything is under control at the moment. Speedy recovery to those who were injured and Rest In Peace Esther, Till we meet again.
