The three lions managed to trounce the Danish team this booking their place in the final. The goalscoring was started by Mikkel Damsgaard who placed the ball past the goalkeeper from a free kick position. Simon Kjaer own goal levelled the scores just before half-time.

Harry Kane wrapped up the goals after he scored a goal from a rebound after Kasper Shmeichel had earlier saved his penalty. This goal gave England the much craved win to get them to the finals.

However, their place in the finals is at risk as Danish fans have signed a petition seeking for the match to be replayed citing the wrong awarding of the penalty. Some fans have since claimed that there was minimal contact by Denmark defender Joakim Maehle on Raheem Sterling, and not enough for him to go to ground.

The petition, set up by Cris Pinto on change.org, has been signed by 1,700 people at the time of writing. The petition warns that if UEFA don't look into the matter, it will show how failed the association is.
