People's urge to become famous has risen significantly in recent years. Some people are able to achieve fame through the proper channels, while others are unable to do so. Let us take a look at some Ghanaian celebrities who have achieved fame outside of Ghana.

1. Efia Odo

Andrea Owusu, best known by her stage name Efia Odo, is a Ghanaian actress, presenter, and social media influencer currently based in the United States.

Efia Odo left Ghana when she was five years old and later returned to pursue her acting career. According to Afia Odo, she returned to Ghana due to a lack of opportunities in the film industry in the United States of America.

2. Jackie Appiah

Jackie is a Ghanaian actress of Canadian descent who made her acting debut in the film "Things We Do For Love."

Jackie Appiah, a stunning actress, was born in Toronto and spent her childhood there. At the age of ten, she moved to Ghana with her mother.

3. Sister Afia

Pastor Duncan Williams' niece is a Ghanaian singer. Sister Afia, or Francisca Duncan Williams, returned to Ghana in 2015 to pursue a career as a singer, and she has exceeded all expectations.
