We think he may be the man to unlock the defense of our opponents-Coach Boadu

Medeama posed some trust in their coach but the coach feels maltreated and unlikely with the conditions at Tarkwa. The amount of money paid to the was a penny. It was one of the best chances for the coach to end his stay with the club. Ensuring that there's progress in his career which compelled him to join the Continental club masters. The management and board of the team made sure that, he has left a legacy for Medeama but the gaffer moved on with all the hopes and luck on his side.

Watching them make some outrageous spending to sign some quality and experience players to beef up the squad for the third time of the league title with Medeama. But after he won such a competitive match to end the season the coach decided to leave the club for elsewhere. Without thinking about the investment made by the board for him to deliver. Coach Samuel Boadu must bring in results that will satisfy the board in order to keep his job. He obviously needs a helping hand and that could be found in person of Ahmed Toure. The Ivorian forward is back in the league for the sixth time. And many expected him to deliver right away because he is not a stranger.

Having once played for Kotoko three times and Bechem United once, no one has to show him the way round. Communications Director for Medeama, Patrick Akoto says the club believes in the 33-year-old’s ability and he will be with the club soon. “Ahmed Toure will fully begin playing with the club soon, he will have to go through formalities, sign the dotted lines and pass his medicals. We remain confident about his ability but of course he cannot shoulder all the responsibilities” he told 3sports. “He is an iconic figure so far as the GPL is concerned. We think he may be the man to unlock the defense of our opponents.” He added.

Amed Toure scored twice and got sent off later on the past Sunday. Toure scored in the 14th and 67th minutes of the game to hand the Mauve and Yellows a well-deserved win in Tarkwa. Dreams FC were also reduced to 10 men following the sending off, of winger Mohammed Sulemana. The centre-back was shown the marching orders after a foul on Zakaria Mumuni. Toure connected to a Justice Blay cross to open the scoring for Medeama SC.

It was a cagey encounter when Bechem United faced off with Medeama in the first league where Toure wasn't part of the team. They were very lucky for the day because they didn't score what they were expecting but tried to manage a point out of the blues. The like of Joseph Esso and other promising stars made the match difficult for the Tarkwa boys. Enough of the good coach for both teams now one has change talking of Medeama and some additions has also been made for them. After losing to Accra Great Olympics, I taught Medeama was looking ahead for a draw in this tough encounter but the difference was clear that if you don't have a veteran with all the experience in the league then forget. Toure did the magic to see his team triumphing to victory. The home side took control in the early stages but Emmanuel Ocran, Issah Ibrahim and Victor Oduro made life difficult for Medeama SC. Dreams will feel hard done by the red card as they really controlled and bossed the midfield for a larger part of the game. They created a few glorious openings but failed to convert. Zakaria Mumuni was the maker of the second goal as he squeezed an absolute beauty of a free kick into the Dreams FC area for Toure to tap home after the defence of Dreams FC failed to clear. Medeama SC have moved to the 5th spot on the log with 30 points, while Dreams FC drop to sixth with 27 points.
