Nobody should go beyond doing business to raise unnecessary flag in Rivers State - Wike

The Rivers State Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike have warned secessionists to stay clear of Rivers State.

WIke, who made this known on Tuesday when the traditional rulers, political and Opinion leaders of Ekpeye nationality paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt said that the high level of Rivers State hospitality should not be taken for granted.

According to him, Rivers State is autonomous and does not belong to other place.

Wike noted that he will not allow anybody from other state to declare that they are part of them.

The governor stressed further that his government will do everything to protect the state and its people from the people who think they can drag Rivers State into their separatist agenda.

Wike however assured people from other states that Rivers is open for them to do business but warned that nobody should go beyond doing business and raise unnecessary flag in the state.

He advised secessionists to take their agenda to somewhere else as Rivers State is not ready to welcome their opinion.
