Matiang'i Say These Politicians Might Lose Firearm License Due To Yesterday Chaos In Various Polls

Yesterday was a by-election in some parts of the country. But something unusual happened that nearly distracted polls. This was the kicks, blows, and arrest of some famous politicians who were involved in the chaos which involved former CS Echesa and Senator Cleophas.

Following these activities, today Matiang'i is the internal cabinet secretary for security. He has declared that the two leaders might lose firearm license especially those leaders who were involved in yesterday's locomotions in polling stations which was conducted.

Also, he added that they might lose their seats or even face court orders. Based on Chapter six of the Kenyan constitution shows that they broke the law yesterday.

Matangi was quoted saying this at Kempinski hotel, Nairobi," We can't have leaders paying bonds of Sh 10,000 and wait for the (Case ) mention after around 10 months. By the time they are back to court, they have slapped ten other people and constantly keep paying bonds"

But Matiang'i did not mention a particular name but yesterday Cleophas' bodyguard shoot resident while Echesa was caught in camera slapping IEBC official.
