The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has rebutted ever being involved in illegal mining activities popularly known as ‘galamsey’ in the country.
John Boadu in a statement somewhere in June categorically rejected the allegations using these words, baseless, malicious, and unmeritorious.
The firebrand NPP leader then warned that these allegations are of consequences to those behind them. He serves notice he will not hesitate to drag the individuals behind the defamatory comments to court for their involvement in the campaign to tarnish his hard-earned reputation as well as his name.
Information reaching our desk has it that two guys who accused John Boadu, General Secretary, NPP of owning a fleet of excavators used for galamsey activities which were parked at a residential facility at Asankragua some weeks ago for fear of being burnt, this morning, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, unreservedly apologized to him John Boadu on Angel 102.9 FM for churning out wrong information. The men speak in Twi to ask the General Secretary John Boadu to forgive them for their naked slanderous comments made against his person as well as his hard-earned reputation.
