Insecurity: Police Arrest 17 Cultists In Abuja

Cultism is a serious crime in any society and needs to be looked into by the government of the nation. Youths of nowadays involve themselves in cultism just because they admire cultists and the way they behave.

Recently, a case of cultism have found in Abuja and the cultists have been apprehended by the police. The report from the Anti-Cultism Unit operatives reveals that the suspects were all male, and they were all apprehended in these different places: Gwagwalada, Gwagwa, Lugbe and Kurudma.

The list of the cultists and their respective ages are as follows, Peter Ajari, 22; Jacob Terkaa, 27; Isiaka Abdulmalik, 19; Akadiri Ay, 23; Nnamdi George, 23; Tony Enejo, 23; Abioze Samuel Cole, 35; Samuel Mbachongu, 29; Michael Malachi, 36; Mbani Chukwuebuka, 34; Monday Orgar, 24; Onyeaka Chinonye, 33, Christian Chidebere, 42; Chukwuebuka Onijbo, 24; Okife Zion, 23; Umoh Faith, 22, and Emmanuel Obinna, 31.

The list shows that the age bracket of the cultists is between 22 and 36, which proofs that it is only the jobless youths of the state that were involve in the crime.

The report also reveals the weapons they were found with which are as follow: three locally made pistols, two rounds of live ammunition, four cartridges, two knives, one axe, one cutlass, charms and wraps of Indian hemp.
