As students are excited to transit to their homes for the end of term three break, it's expected that they'll stay home for 2 to 3 weeks before they return to school again in August. Due to the pandemic of Covid 19, speculations have been high over a possible disruption of the school calendar to contain the deadly disease.
However, the Cabinet Secretary of Education, Professor George Magoha has cleared the air over the same while at Wajir on Saturday. He clearly explained all schools shall stick to the academic calendar that had been developed earlier. There will be no changes on the calendar even with the pandemic of Covid 19.
The term is relatively short and any changes or modifications will not be made. Magoha also called for parents to take care of the children while at home for the short holiday so that they will all return back to school on 26th this month without any Covid 19 based complications.
