Opinion - Four former Mamelodi Sundowns top players could all be set for a reunion at Kaizer Chiefs?

Normally here in South African Football it is always Mamelodi Sundowns who sign all the best players from they're fierce rivals and not the other way around it may seem considering just how much power they have

Then again it is not usual for Mamelodi Sundowns to poach players from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates regardless of how much power and dominance they have achieved over the last couple of years or so

Because both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are lead by Dr Irvin Khoza and Kaizer Motaung Snr as well as Bobby Motaung who are all well aware of the financial resources Mamelodi Sundowns have and could take serious advantage of them

Which is why there is always a hesitation from Mamelodi Sundowns to poach players from Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates as a consequence of that becauae both Soweto Giants are bigger brands than the Brazilians

Instead Mamelodi Sundowns have they're own rival to pick on in the form of SuperSport United who are slowly becoming a feeder club for them in terms being a place where they can fish around for top class players

But over the years no matter how much dominance and brilliance Mamelodi Sundowns have achieved Kaizer Chiefs have managed to poach one or two really good players from them

And those two players in question are of course Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat who have both made moves to Kaizer Chiefs despite Mamelodi Sundowns being the more successful club

This week in particular a lot of news has filtered through that Kaizer Chiefs could be about to make a sensational move for former Mamelodi Sundowns star midfielder Bongani Zungu

To follow that up as well another Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder has also been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs in the form of Sibusiso Vilakazi

Both players at this moment are in vulnerable positions and are there for the taking and Kaizer Chiefs could take advantage of that situation

Meaning there would now be four former top class Mamelodi Sundowns players at Kaizer Chiefs in the form of Sibusiso Vilakazi, Bongani Zungu, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly
