The new owners are expected to invest huge sum of money in the improvements of the squad, by signing top players in the transfer market, and also improve the infrastructure at the club, such as training facilities for the players.
The Saudi Arabia Consortium are now considered to be the richest club owners in the world, and could splash the cash by investing heavily in the club, making them one of the biggest club in the Premier League.
3. Club Ambitions
The main ambition of Newcastle United under Mike Ashley was to try as much as possible to maintain their premier league status in every season, regardless of their standing on the Premier League table.
With the new owners, the ambitions of the club is likely to change, as they will want the team to challenge for trophies and also compete with the Premier League big clubs.
