The self proclaimed Luhya kingpins under COTU secretary general Mr Francis Atwoli, Devolution CS Eugine Wamalwa and Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya held a meeting in Busia county.
Together with Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong, Trans Nzoia governor Patrick Khaemba, Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati, Vihiga governor Wilberforce Otichilo, teso south Mp Oku Kaunya and his Budalangi counterpart Rafael Wanjala reached a section of Busia county MCAs and leadership of teaching fraternity of KNUT, KUPPET and KEPSHA on covid-19 sensitization.
Eugine Wamalwa urged the people of western Kenya to support them and Uhuru Kenyatta to give way for development and Unity in Mulembe nation.
The other group leaded by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses e held another meeting in Lugari at Ayub Suvula's home.
Musalia Mudavadi blasted the Eugine's and Oparanya's team for moving around with fake projects to fool the Luhyas.
He therefore declared his ambition for the countrie's top seat since he cannot back anybody ahead of 2022.
On William Ruto's side, his close aides in Western Kenya met in Mumias East at former majority National chief whip Benjamin Washiali's home.
Together with Kimilili Mp Didmus Barasa and former Kakamega senator Dr Boni Khalwale, they promised that they'll reach Mudavadi to work with Deputy president William Ruto on 2022.
Many citizens from Mulembe nation are left confused since there may be secret cards working around between Musalia Mudavadi and William Ruto.
Musalia Mudavadi himself said that the region had been carrying other candidates at their backs for 57 years and for now it's their time to go for it.
Mudavadi only and the Luhyas community cannot get to the seat without the support of any other bigest tribe.
However, Mumias East Mp Benjamin Washiali urged the people of Mulembe to support their close friend William Ruto so that they can get over 8 million votes.
