Police minister Bheki Cele has denied he has a “frosty” relationship with countrywide police commissioner Khehla Sitole.

“I deny that there's a frosty relationship,” Cele instructed the SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) hearings into the July riots on Friday.
He said he and Sitole had a “operating courting”.
“I turned into a countrywide commissioner ... I minimised any conflict. I had a super group. The stats had never been so excellent,” Cele said of his tenure as countrywide police commissioner, before becoming police minister.
Cele stated the “actual” frosty dating was amongst SAPS' top management.
“I would love to peer the commissioner take his management and walk in unison. I wish this enterprise will find its manner and do the activity it is supposed to do and remedy matters that are imagined to resolved.
“I hope we are able to discover each other and fasten the ones things,” Cele said.
He stated anyone have to take duty for the individuals who died during the riots.
“It might have been higher for all of us,” he stated.
